Graycor Construction Company is pleased to announce the opening of a new office in Bakersfield, CA to serve existing and prospective clients throughout the San Joaquin Valley. The address of the new office is 4900 California Avenue, Tower B, 2nd Floor, Bakersfield, CA 93309. Graycor Construction Company also maintains offices in Chicago, Charlotte, Phoenix, San Jose and Atlanta.

The office provides a base of operations to support the company’s growing light commercial industrial portfolio, comprising of facilities in the distribution center market, led by Vice President, Todd Ostransky and the cold storage, food processing and manufacturing markets led by Vice President, Scott Skala.

Graycor is currently managing projects in excess of $300M worth of preconstruction and construction activity in the San Joaquin Valley and Inland Empire regions. Currently in construction is a 600,000-square-foot perishable food distribution center for Walmart in Shafter, California. The cold storage distribution center is the first of its kind for Walmart, featuring 70-foot ceiling height and ASRS (automated storage and retrieval system) technology to process grocery perishables to stores and clubs faster, distributing 40% more products. Additionally, Graycor is also currently constructing a 700,000-square-foot fulfillment center for an e-commerce company in Central California.

One of its first projects in California was the Air Products Manufacturing Facility for Air Products & Chemicals, Inc. Other notable industrial projects in California include: ALDI Regional Headquarters and Distribution Center (835KSF) in Moreno Valley, a LEED Gold project also recognized by ENR California with the 2016 Best Projects Award for Manufacturing and Distribution Center; two FedEx Ground Sorting and Distribution Centers in Rialto (303KSF) and Fresno (200KSF); Toyota NUMMI Facility (45KSF) in Fremont; and DDG 553 Distribution Center (553KSF) in Fresno.
